Green Smoothie

What a great way to start your day! Or a great lunch option. Make earlier and leave in the fridge to thicken up.

Fantastic if you are doing any gut work as the ginger and lemon work to increase digestive enzymes and stimulate the digestive process.

This recipe is for 2 serves, so halve if doing for just you.

Ingredients for Green Smoothie

  • 84 grams Spinach Leaves
  • 1 Cucumber (chopped)
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)
  • 2 Pear (peeled and chopped)
  • 6 grams Ginger (grated)
  • 7 grams Ground Flax Seed
  • 356 mls Water
  • 5 Ice Cubes

Directions for Detox Green Smoothie

  1. Place all ingredients together in a blender. Blend until smooth. Be patient! No one likes clumps in their smoothies. It may take 1 minute or longer to get a great, smoothie-consistency.
  2. Divide between glasses and enjoy!
